Your challenge with us:

Together with your colleagues you will develop software for the control and monitoring of our satellite communication links and for various communication applications. In addition, you will work actively and independently on exciting research and development projects and develop new, innovative communication services, also with project responsibility by arrangement.

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in the field of computer science or a comparable education
• Experience in object-oriented programming (ideally good knowledge of the programming languages C/C++ and Python)
• Experience with web programming interfaces (REST-API)
• Sound knowledge of web application development (JavaScript, AJAX)
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
• Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP/IP)
• Database knowledge (SQL) advantageous
• Experience in agile project environment preferable
• Flexibility and openness for new tasks
• Analytical, solution-oriented and careful way of thinking and working
• Good team skills and a high degree of customer orientation
• Very good German and English skills

Your challenge with us:

• You support customers via remote diagnostics in troubleshooting, should a problem occur on site
• Within the operations team, you will support customers in using our communication services and transmission technology securely
• You will learn to configure our existing satellite transmission technology, set it up for new customers and monitor it
• As you gain experience, you will be able to design new customer systems and support the sales department with technical issues
• If necessary, you will work on-site at our customers’ locations to maintain or commission the systems
• In order to provide 24/7 support for our international customers, you will take over the on-call duties alternately with your colleagues after appropriate training

Your profile:

• You are enthusiastic about technology and information technology and enjoy sharing your knowledge with other people
• You work in a structured and organized manner and have an exceptional service orientation
• A completed training in a technical profession, preferably in the IT or electrical engineering environment is an advantage, IT-enthusiastic career changers are also welcome with us
• Experience in technical customer support
• Knowledge of the IT environment, preferably with a focus on networks and communications

Your challenge with us:

You are responsible for the personnel and operational management of our NOC, which currently carries out the
tasks of network operation and network monitoring as well as fault analysis and elimination with five employees and
two trainees. As a competent contact person, you will coordinate 1st and 2nd level support, further develop our
technical customer service and manage the processing of customer projects. Thanks to your reliable, careful and
quality-oriented way of working, you will also be responsible for the further development of operational processes
between NOC and sales.

Your Profile:

• Experience in network operations and leadership roles
• Comprehensive knowledge of network technology and domain knowledge
• Satellite communications are advantageous but not absolutely necessary
• Analytical, solution-oriented and careful way of thinking and working
• Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
• High degree of customer orientation, initiative and personal responsibility
• Great interest and enjoyment in organizational responsibility and maintaining an open
• Dialogue with colleagues, customers and service providers
• A trainer aptitude test is desirable but can also be acquired as part of the job
